Seven to Save 2024 Announcement

Join us as we unveil the 2024 Seven to Save listees at the historic Bradford Town Hall (Seven to Save 2014).

Online registration is closed but you can still register in person prior to the event. Details below:

SEVEN TO SAVE ANNOUNCEMENT EVENT:  5-7 pm
Bradford Town Hall, 75 W. Main St, Bradford

Registration open in first floor meeting room from 2:45 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.

  • We would prefer that you check in at registration and get a nametag before you start pre-announcement event touring, but it’s ok if you don’t!

  • If you are associated with a Seven to Save this year, or one on past lists, add a ribbon to your nametag.

Parking is available in the Town Hall lot and across the street in the library and church lots.

In addition to this year’s announcement, the event will include some brief updates on past Seven to Save listees. Light refreshments and a reception will follow.

Restrooms, and elevator available for access to second floor hall.

PRE-ANNOUNCEMENT EVENT TOURING: 3:00-4:30 pm

Enjoy visits before our announcement to places with significant architecture and social histories that are impressive examples of small town stewardship.  [Bradford’s population is about 1,600 and Sutton’s is 1,900].  Property representatives will be available to open doors and answer questions.

  • Bradford Historical Society Museum, 152 and 162 E. Main Street, Bradford. Features Old Post Office, Blacksmith Forge, Corn Crib and Tin Shop.

  • Bradford Center Meetinghouse, 24 Rowe Mountain Road. Also enjoy the nearby Center School. 6 minute drive from town hall.

  • South Sutton Meetinghouse, 17 Meeting House Hill Road, South Sutton. 7 minute drive from town hall.

Other nearby spots to enjoy:

·         Bement Covered Bridge, Bradford, just south of Route 103 on Center Road over the Warner River. A rare survivor of the Long Truss design recently rehabilitated by the Town of Bradford. Read more background here about the 2022 Preservation Alliance award winner.  

Sweet Beet Market, 11 W. Main Street, Bradford. Part of the Kearsarge Food Hub. Rehab/re-use featured in Communities and Consequences, co-written by former Preservation Alliance board member Lorraine Merrill.
