Join us as Ben Wilson, Director of NH Division of Historical Resources and Preservation Alliance board member, leads the conversation “Preserving What is Simply Significant” with Martha Werenfels, Principal at DBVW Architects, Providence, and Rob Emlen, Visiting Scholar in American Studies at Brown University and author of Imagining the Shakers: How the Visual Culture of Shaker Life was Pictured in the Popular Illustrated Press of Nineteenth-Century America. Don't miss our festive Picnic-on-the-Green, with "Preserving What is Simply Significant" presentation and a Fund-the-Need Auction to support a new Building Assessment, which will guide us in strategically protecting the Village's 30 intact buildings, all of which contribute to our National Historic Trust designation.

There will also be live music! Bring your own picnic, desserts and beverages are on us!
