Sankofa Tour Guides: Rebecca Courser and Lyn Clark

Historians Rebecca Courser & Lynn Clark will take us on a journey in Warner, NH that commemorates and make visible the town’s Black community dating back to the late 1700s. The tour begins at the Soldier’s Monument (17 Church Street) near the Warner town hall at 2:00 PM. The tour continues along a 1.75-mile walk on Main and School Streets exploring the themes of labor, education, and military service by examining the lives of various families in the 18th and 19th centuries.
