Recognize Preservation Achievement
2/21/2007 - Concord, NH

To honor the outstanding preservation achievements of the past year the New Hampshire Preservation Alliance is seeking nominations for its annual New Hampshire Preservation Achievement Awards. The awards recognize individuals, organizations or corporations for work or projects in the categories of restoration and stewardship, rehabilitation and adaptive use, compatible new construction, public policy and educational and planning initiatives.

Last year's award recipients included the preservation and restoration of the Colonel Paul Wentworth House in Rollinsford, the restoration of the Contoocook Railroad Depot, the planning and advocacy for the Chocorua Lake Basin National Register Historic District, and the preservation advocacy of Senator Judd Gregg, Catherine Gregg, and Kathleen MacLellan Gregg. John Porter won the Elizabeth Durfee Hengen Award for excellence in preservation education, advocacy and planning.
