Our offices are in the former Eagle Hotel Stable (1882) in downtown Concord, just off Main Street in Eagle Square. The stable building was part of the prominent Main Street landmark hotel which operated from 1851-1961, just across Main Street from the statehouse. It is now part of Concord's downtown National Register district. Many important gatherings took place at the Eagle Hotel, and guests included Andrew Jackson, Ulysses S. Grant, Jefferson Davis, Charles Lindbergh, Eleanor Roosevelt and Richard Nixon. Eagle Square was redeveloped in the 1980s.
